Upper Deck Lauds Konami Settlement 'A Successful Resolution'

Upper Deck has released a statement expressing its satisfaction with the settlement of its long-running litigation with Konami (see ?Upper Deck and Konami Settle Lawsuit?), calling it a ?successful resolution.?



?Upper Deck is extremely pleased with the cooperative resolution with Konami,? the statement said. ?Sometimes it simply takes a courtroom, the presence of a jury, and the start of a trial?.?



The settlement provides for structured payments by Upper Deck, and made permanent the injunction against Upper Deck selling Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG products.
