Ishinomori Shoutarou Manga Encyclopedia Date: 5/17/2005 |

Massive Collection of Works Aiming for Guiness Entry -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kadokawa Shoten has announced that at the end of this year they are going to publish the 1st volume of a 500 volume "Ishinomori Shoutaro Manga Encyclopedia." In regards to this, they are applying for an entry in the Guiness Book of World Records. This encyclopedia is one of Kadokawa's projects to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the group's foundation. The encyclopedia is a massive undertaking, cataloging and recording 790 titles and hundreds of tankoubon produced by the late Shotaro Ishinomori, creator of works such as Cyborg 009, Kikaider and Masked Rider. |
