McG to Helm 'Wonder Woman' Pilot? Said To Be the Favorite

Joseph McGinty Nichol, aka McG, is reportedly the odds on favorite to direct the pilot for the newly greenlit NBC Wonder Woman series being developed by David E. Kelley. McG has demonstrated some prowess with booty-kicking female protagonists?he directed the two Charlie?s Angels movies. McG has directed several TV pilots including initial efforts for Chuck and Fastlane, though both of those projects were developed by McG?s production company, Wonderland Sound and Vision.

Even though McG?s company is not producing Wonder Woman, Deadline is reporting that ?he has emerged as the odds-on favorite to direct the Wonder Woman pilot.?
