Bandai Gets Magical DoReMi Master Toy License

4Kids Entertainment has awarded Bandai America the master toy license for the anime series Magical DoReMi. The series, which ran over 200 episodes in Japan, will have its first U.S. TV appearance this Saturday on 4Kids TV (see "Magical DoReMi Preview in August"), and will be a regular in the 4Kids Saturday morning programming block beginning September 10th.



The first Bandai toys will be released in America next spring. Magical DoReMi spawned a successful merchandise program in Japan, where licensed goods accounted for over $100 million in retail sales in the series' first year on TV.
