Definitive Answers On High-Def Date: 10/7/2005 |
| Business Week has had some of the best articles in the last week or two dealing with the various agendas going on with both new formats coming to market so I was glad to see a new article this morning entitled Definitive Answers on High-Def. This is a rather short and very basic piece but it answers some of those questions that are still coming up, such as compatability with DVD. A lot of this to me continues to feel just like it did back in 1996 and 1997 during the pre-launch phase as more and more information came out. There is of course the high price of entry due to it being a new format and technology so the user base will be smaller at first and not what you'd consider mainstream but that sense of excitement and anticipation is really starting to kick in now that the war itself is starting to fall into place. |
