Saitama City Awarded
Date: 11/2/2005
Saitama City has been selected to receive the Manga No Nichi Bunka Taishou for 2005. The prize is awarded to the person or team that contributed to the spread and development of manga production. An awards ceremony was held in Tokyo on the 31st. In the past, Kochi Prefecture etc. that sponsored "Cartoon Koshien" took the prize established in 2003 by the Japan Cartoonists Association which consists of three publishing companies.
