Wal-Mart Plans Black Friday Blitz

Wal-Mart's plans for price cuts on Black Friday may have been leaked prematurely. Gottadeal.com claims to have received a copy of the Wal-Mart's price circulars and has published lists of the products and prices being featured. According to the list, Wal-Mart will offer Trivial Pursuit DVD Game: Pop Culture 2 for $19.72 (currently $29.99 from Toys R Us), a Star Wars lightsaber for $8.00, the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Gift Set for $18.00, and the UNO Attack Card Game for $9.97. The prices contemplated on these and other toys and games will mark a much more aggressive stance for the retailing giant than its early moves (see "Toy Price War Slowly Escalates"), and closer to its rhetoric as the season began (see "Wal-Mart Plans Aggressive Holiday Pricing").



Wal-Mart refused to confirm to CNN/Money that the GottaDeal.com information was correct.
