Yahoo To Deliver 100,000 Free Animation Works

Yahoo / RBB Today is reporting the Yahoo Animation portal will offer 100,000 animation titles to internet users via free delivery. Softbank is teaming with Yahoo to bring the project to fruition. Profit will be generated through advertisement placerd inthe animation video. GyaO's similar and free USEN service has five million members currently. More details will be made available at a forthcoming press conference. At the link you can see a sneak peek at the companies to offer their animation content to the service. The list reads like a who's who of the Japanese animation industry. The announcement comes just on the heels of Livedoor unveiling their online animation delivery site last week.
