Naruto To Become Theatrical Play

The group MA (Musical Academy) will adapt the story of Kishimoto Masashi's Naruto to a theatrical stage play in Japan. Princess Tenko (Princess Tenko and the Guardians of Magic) is heading up the project. Serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump", the 30 existing volumes of manga has sold 59 million copies. An original story will be used in the play. Tomoyuki Yara and Jun Akiyama will star. The debut performance will be held in Gotanda U-Port Kan'i Hoken Hall on May 4 next year. A show in Osaka is also planned for the 19th.
