Final Fantasy: Advent Children Los Angeles Premiere

April 7, 2006 - The excruciating wait is almost over for the US release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. The DVD and UMD, which premieres April 25, 2006 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, was celebrated Monday night with an official premiere at Los Angeles' Arclight Theater, where a handful of cast and crew showed up to offer a few details about the forthcoming two-disc set. Additionally, Sony held an exclusive screening of the film that offered audiences a first look at the film with an English rather than Japanese-language translation.
Among those IGN spoke to on the red carpet were American Beauty star Mena Suvari (who provides the voice of Aeris), Rachael Leigh Cook (playing Tifa) and Steve Burton (the voice of Cloud), in addition to a handful of celebrities and crew members who came out to support the highly-anticipated release.
