Teacher Arrested for Showing Pornographic Drawing to Students Date: 6/16/2006 |

Anime mentioned in relation to the case. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A Chesapeake area teacher has been arrested for showing two 8th students, aged 13 and 14, pornographic drawings. He was arrested after the two students complained to the school principle. Currently available information does not specify if the drawings were anime or manga related, however court documents state the teacher had 65 pornographic anime images, downloaded from the Internet, in his bookbag when he was arrested. Court documents state that when students asked the teacher for paper, he directed them to a notebook that contained hand drawn pornographic images. He is charged with two misdemeanor counts of distributing obscene material and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. |
