Date: 1/9/2007
Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles (DST) has announced it has acquired the license for 20th Century Fox Television?s 24. The agreement, which enables DST to create MiniMates (in conjunction with Art Asylum) and 12? figures, is effective immediately, with product expected to be on shelves in 2007.

Heralded for its innovative storytelling, 24 burst onto the television scene in 2001. ?Fans of 24 are very supportive of official merchandise based on the series and DST is extremely proud to partner with Fox to bring the fans what they want,? said DST Marketing & Sales Supervisor Michael Leavey.

?24 continues to grow in popularity with each passing season and our licensed initiatives are no exception. We are genuinely excited that both DST and Art Asylum will be leveraging their creativity and marketing expertise with exciting brand extensions for 24,? said 20th Century Fox Vice President, Domestic Licensing Michael Peikoff.
