New NHK Anime Interview Program: Anime GIGA

NHK has announced Anime GIGA, a new TV program which will interview charismatic personalities related to animation production in Japan. The first broadcast is March 1st, 2007. Host and show developer is former Newtype Japan Magazine editor Takashi Watanabe. He entered Animage's editorial staff in 1989 and become the magazine's fifth editor in chief in 1995. Later he moved to become chief editor of Newtype in 2000 where he stayed for 3 years, In 2006 he was a producer on the Tokikake film. The first guest will be voice actor Koichi Yamadera (Spike Spiegel - Cowboy Bebop).
