CPM Press Cancels Titles

According to an update at Right Stuf, CPM Press has canceled the following graphic novel releases:

Princess Graphic Novel 1, Angel Shop Graphic Novel 1, Sword of Shibito Graphic Novel 2, Masca Graphic Novel 2, Kung Fu Jungle Boy Graphic Novel 1, Yongbi the Invincible Graphic Novel 5, Full House Graphic Novel 4, Zzim! Graphic Novel 1, Couple Graphic Novel 4, Slayers: King of Ghost City Graphic Novel, Nambul: War Stories Graphic Novel 4: Desperation, Duck Prince Graphic Novel 4 and Geobreeders Graphic Novel 4 (2nd Ed).

These make up a good chunk of their March and April releases as well as dipping into their February releases. Anime News Network recently noted that CPM recently laid off several people in the book side of their business noting that "Market factors, which are causing CPM to scale back its comic book release rate, were cited as contributing factors in the layoff's in the comic book department." This is the likely result of that.
