C3xHOBBY To Occur Same Weekend As Summer Comiket

It's been announced the major Japanese character and hobby event Chara-Hobby or C3xHOBBY will take place at Makuhari Messe Kokusai-tenjijo from Saturday the 18th through Sunday the 19th of August, 2007. The event united the previous garage kit event HobbyExpo (aka: JAF-CON) and character event C3 in 2004. Attendence is ecpected to exceed 100,000. Comic Market 72 is scheduled to occur the same weekend, Friday, August 17 - Sunday, the 19th at Tokyo Big Site. Both also arrive at the tail end of Japan's summer vacation period.
