Mushishi Debuts In Japan

Mycom Journal has pics of Katsuhiro Otomo and cast from the Mushishi Japanese premiere held this past weekend. The nationwide theatrical opening is March 24th. The film marks Otomo's first return to live action after 16 years. Filming ocured over a 3 month period and production took 2 years total. Location hunting over 50,000km was undertaken. After a world premiere at Venice 24 countries have asked to screen the work, licensing offers from 30+ countries have streamed in to dsitribute it internationally.
