Vertical to Expand Lineup with Modern Manga Imprint
Date: 4/21/2007
Publishers Weekly reports that Vertical Inc. will create a new imprint to focus on contemporary manga, particularly sh?jo manga. The still unnamed imprint will launch in summer of 2008 after the hiring of five new staffers. Vertical's most prominent manga releases to date are two Osamu Tezuka classics: Buddha and Ode to Kirihito.
