Otakon to Host Director, Producer of Conan, City Hunter
Date: 6/19/2007
Otakon 2007 has announced on June 19 that veteran director Kenji Kodama and his frequent producer Michihiko Suwa will attend as guests of the July 20-22 convention at the Baltimore Convention Center in Maryland. The two have worked together on City Hunter, Detective Conan, and the newest top-ten television franchise, Kekkaishi. Kodama also directed Cats Eye and storyboarded Lupin III: Part III series, Black Jack, and Kamichu. Suwa produced Yawara!, Magic Knight Rayearth, Inuyasha, Black Jack, and Angel Heart.
