French Team Wins 5th World Cosplay Summit
Date: 8/6/2007
World Cosplay Summit 2007 announced that the French team won its championship on August 5 in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture. France's Damian Ratte and Isabelle Jeudy cosplayed as Tsugiri and My?bi from Alichino. Second place went to the Tokyo Venue team of Naoki Shigure and Kikiwan as Death Note's Light and Misa (complete with a Ryuk mannequin), while Mexico's Linaloe and Alejandra Rodriguez Rivera won the Brother Award for their Eternal Sailor Moon and Dark Sailor Galaxia costumes from Sailor Moon.
