TokiKake, Atagoal, Brave Story in Chicago October 5-14

The Chicago International Film Festival will present its second annual Anime Focus section with three features. The section will open with Mamoru Hosoda's critically acclaimed The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (Toki o Kakeru Sh?jo or Tokikake) film on Friday, October 5 at 5:15 p.m. with two more showings on October 7 and 13. Hiroshi Masumura's surreal Atagoal: Cat's Magical Forest fantasy will follow on Saturday, October 6 at 12:00 p.m. as well as showings on October 7 and 9. Koichi Chigira's Brave Story adventure film will conclude the anime program with a Saturday, October 6 showing at 2:45 p.m. and another showing on October 14. Thanks, Aaron B.
