'Clone Wars' Scores Highest Ratings Ever For a Cartoon Network Series Premiere

Last Friday night Lucasfilm Animation?s Star Wars: The Clone Wars scored the highest ratings ever for the premiere of a new series on Cartoon Network. The show, which debuted with back-to-back episodes (see ?Clone Wars Series Debuts Oct. 3rd?), was the #1 program among all the major kid networks across all the kid and tween demographics. The weekly Clone Wars series racked up triple digit increases compared to the shows that were broadcast on Cartoon Network in the same time period a year ago.



The success of Star Wars: The Clone Wars also helped increase the ratings of Cartoon Network series that followed it, providing double digit increases for the rest of the toon net?s Friday night, pre-Adult Swim lineup.
