Kuitan Drama

NTV is working on a drama adaptation of Daisuke Terasawa's "Kuitan: Casefiles Of The Gourmet Detecitve" manga. The TV series serial which starts in January will star Higashiyama Noriyuki. The original comc runs in Kodansha's Evening magazine. The storyline focuses on a brilliant detective who is constantly eating ramen and other foods everywhere he goes solving mysteries. Actor Higashiyama mentioened he has been keeping a solid figure of about 60 kilos even tackling a triathlon done in the U.S. at Honolulu in April. He came in 53rd place out of 105 entrants
