Forthcoming Book Looks at Origins of Manga

Adding to several other books on anime and manga that have appeared in the last several months, the New York-based publisher Amulet Books will be publishing Hokusai: First Manga Master, a volume that will discuss the influence that the 19th-century master Katsushika Hokusai exerted on the development of modern Japanese comics. This book is currently scheduled for a June 2007 release, and additional details are available at the publisher's website.
