Bandai Visual Starts English Version of Dot-Anime Site

Bandai Visual USA launched the North American version of the dot-anime website for fans. The original Japanese version allows fans to download 400 different titles, as well as purchase anime DVDs and CDs from several distributors; the English version sells Bandai Visual USA and Broccoli DVDs, books, and merchandise for now. Bandai Visual expects to add multimedia content this fall. Tokyopop relaunched its community site this month, while Funimation's parent Navarre is promising to relaunch its animeOnline site after closing it on July 20.
