More On ERP Solution Provider SAP

Our walk up the ERP learning curve continues. As mentioned by the Nihon Keizai article, SAP is being employed to provide both Toei and GDH's new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solution suites. Founded in 1972 in Germany, SAP is the recognized by many as a leader in providing collaborative business solutions for all types of industries and for every major market. With 12 million users, 88,000 installations, and 1,500 partners, SAP is the world's largest inter-enterprise software company and the world's third-largest independent software supplier overall. SAP Japan was established in 1992. There, SAP is providing various solutions that enable the construction of supplier relationship management (SRM), supply chain management (SCM) including integrated mission-critical task software (ERP), customer relations management (CRM), corporate portal (Enterprise Portal), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), etc. Over 1,200 Japanese companies are already using SAP's services.
