The Invasion Continues! New Invader Zim Toys Date: 3/2/2005 |

Series 2 revealed, plus new Hot Topic Exclusives, PVC's, more! Following it's eagerily awaited launch late last year, Invader Zim will receive new action figures from Palisades in 2005! Series 2, slated for release this summer will include: Human Disguise Zim, Doggie Disguise Gir, Robo Parents, All Mighty Tall One Red and Gaz. As with Series 1, variant head sculpts will be offered on some of the figures (such as Human Disguise Zim pictured above). An action figure 2-pack starring Angry Zim and Loopy Gir will be offered as a Wizard World convention exclusive. Other new items on display included a Hot Topic exclusive PVC set (featuring Human Disguise Zim, Invader Zim, Baloney Dib, and Beaver Gaz) and an incredible, approximately 10" tall roto figure entitled Mega Gir (pictured below and due out 3rd Quarter 2005). This collectible will allow fans to zip-up Gir into his plush Doggie Disguise. Pretty darn cool, though don't get your hopes up for a true plush line. Palisades made it clear that no Invader Zim plush items are planned. |
